竜神池にて、珍しく地上に降りていたアカエリヒレアシシギ。
若鳥。
A juvenile Red-necked Phalarope was on a rock in Hegura Island.
普段海上でしか見られない鳥なので、ゆっくり観察できた良い機会でした。
It's pretty rare to see phalaropes are staying on the ground like this.
That's why, it was my first time to have enough time to take some good shots.

この時期はまだ少ないですが、舳倉航路でアカエリヒレアシシギが見られました。
珍しく、上空高く舞い上がって飛んでいきました。
成鳥夏羽。
Adult summer Red-necked Phalaropes.
I saw this small flock from Hegura ferry.
They normally fly along the surface, so I don't see them flying high like this so often.
