ウミアイサ Red-breasted Merganser 三重
三重県にて、ウミアイサ。
地元の琵琶湖でも時々見られますが、こんなに近くで見られることはありません。
冠羽の立派なオス成鳥。
Adult male Red-breasted Merganser.
I saw some fo them at very close range at a river mouth in Mie.
川の河口付近の広範囲で、オスメス共に複数羽見られました。
Male and female.
I can see them in my home field Biwako, as well.
However, they are always quite far from the shore, so it was lucky to take photos of this beautiful bird like this.
